Wood supplier

Amazing experience from start to finish! I usually try to throw in a little constructive criticism into these reviews but, I don't have any. I was building my first chess board and didn't really know where to start. Oliver suggested some walnut and maple and addressed all other questions, comments, and concerns I had. Very polite, professional , and knowledgeable. This isn't your typical store buying experience... it's so much more! I won't go anywhere else for my next project.

If I could have given 10 stars I would have. Went in to buy some casing which I found for 1/3 of the price than the big box stores are asking. Order was processed so quickly and John, the owner, cut them down so I could fit them in my car. He was so friendly and entertained my numerous questions, patiently explaining how I could resolve another issue I was having with a challenging ceiling beam. Although a 20 minute drive for me, well worth driving for much longer than that to get the product and service that this small business has to offer. I will be back!

We got such an amazing piece of reclaimed Doug fir from these guys. It's the showpiece of our store and always a topic of conversation. Great price and quality, absolutely the best in town.

Hit or miss with some types of plywood but overall a great place for sheet goods

Terrible customer service. Purchased wood from them, was about to stain sent them a few questions on facebook about the wood (which can see they have viewed lol) just ignore you, once they got your money they could care less about customer service. Will never deal with this company or recommend them to anyone, and the other 1 star reviews on here sound about right on how this company is/operates...!

I am not a wood person, but the experience I had with SCDQ I will start with giving them score, 10/10 for friendly staff, 10/10 for quality, 10/10 on value for money, 10/10 for customer service, and 12/10 for after sale service.And as I mentioned I am not a wood person and so I did a lot of research trying to find the right wooden product supplier and once I found San Cedar Direct Coquitlam, I knew my long wait and exhaustive search was over. The price is higher than others but I prefer quality (product and customer service) rather than pricing. I assure you, you will not be disappointed with your decision on choosing SCDQ. The customer service is outstanding and the quality is second to none. In the end you will for many years think that you had made the right decision. Mr. Faisal Ali thank you for doing all what you did to make my work easy and productive.
